Role Overview
The Coordinator, Digital Marketing reports to the Digital Strategist and helps support and optimize Diabetes Canada’s digital marketing programs. The role will be focused on executing digital marketing campaigns and requests across social, email and diabetes.ca.
This role includes, but not limited to:
- Use Kentico content management system to build, update and publish content to diabetes.ca
- Build and deploy emails to leverage email marketing to reach Diabetes Canada’s constituents
- Copy writing, content creation and scheduling/publishing (using Hootsuite) for Diabetes Canada’s national social media accounts
- Assist with community management for Diabetes Canada’s national social media accounts moderating and acting on response protocols
- Monitor social channels and conversations to identify opportunities to expand reach and provide support to people affected by diabetes
- Monitor, measure, and report on digital marketing performance to help optimize campaigns and evaluate performance
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities to continue to evolve digital marketing
The ideal candidate possesses:
- 2+ years of experience in a marketing role
- Experience with CMS, and familiarity with basic HTML
- Knowledge of web analytics, and experience with Google Analytics
- Experience with graphic design and design software e.g. Photoshop, InDesign or Canva
- Technically savvy, with the ability to quickly learn new digital technologies and be comfortable doing so
- Organized with the ability to juggle multiple requests
- Detail-oriented with strong writing and copy editing skills
Location: The office is located at 522 University Ave, Toronto, ON. There is a return to office plan recently implemented. A Flexible Work Arrangement Policy is in place which will allow for a hybrid work schedule, for this role there will be some remote and some in-office work will be required.
