The Opportunity:
Reporting to and working in collaboration with Manager, Marketing, the Digital Marketing & CRM Associate is the creative mind behind internal and external communications sent on behalf of the Corporation.
The Digital Marketing & CRM Associate will manage the operations and execution of all CRM campaigns, across all departments. We are seeking someone who is proactive, super-organized, has exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, data curious and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include overseeing the execution of daily email, analyzing results and reporting key insights to stakeholders and managing the CRM needs for all departments within the organization.

Job Duties:
Marketing Communications

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of email marketing campaigns for the organization
  • Creatively design and deliver email marketing campaigns for all departments including; Marketing, Communications, Ticketing, Development, Education
  • Edits copy, creates and/or designs images for each email to required specs
  • Manages email software/relationship for marketing pieces
  • Maintains brand consistency with other media
  • Analyzes data from email marketing initiatives to develop strategies and best practices and shares insights with stakeholders
  • Manages email Opt-ins and monitor unsubscribe statistics
  • Ensures that the Corporation is compliant with Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) in relation to email communication
  • Assists and tracks budgets for contracted rental email deployment

Other Responsibilities

  • Primary back-up/support for marketing team,
  • Back-up/support for Web and Interactive Media associate in relation to website content and event on sale management
  • Works closely with in-house designer to create assets that can be used on website(s), emails, social media pieces
  • Participates in social media strategy discussions and assist in execution
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements: Requirements:

  • College diploma in marketing, design or other related fields
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in marketing and sales/communications in an art/entertainment industry
  • Strong knowledge of the adobe creative suite, email software, excel, word and HTML
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Adwords, Tessitura an asset

We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Digital VIP Marketing Manager to support the development of the product vision and strategy with a focus on the growth of our portfolio via driving incremental registrations or extracting incremental value out of our existing players in alignment with the business strategy. In support of the defined Product Owner, the Digital VIP Marketing Manager is the key SME when it comes to all things related to marketing which includes offer, channel, segment, and experiential events strategy through to execution in support of the defined marketing goals within the product/lab. Through an agile team-based methodology, the role will be accountable for identification, evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of marketing initiatives that will increase loyalty, revenue and profitability and drive excellent customer experiences.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME

Reporting to the Sr Marketing Manager, you will be empowered to:

  • Support and manage Marketing strategies, tactics, campaigns, services, and events associated with the effective promotion of consumer-facing online gaming services across all available distribution channels (including but not limited to online advertising, search engine optimization/search engine marketing, social media, owned site assets, CRM, experiential, promotions, public relations).
  • Lead campaigns and events through planning, concept development, execution, optimization, and post analysis to ensure alignment with defined product / lab strategies and priorities
  • Execute campaigns and events through player and promotional systems to ensure successful delivery of promotion / campaign objectives
  • Lead development of creative to support key tactics via in house and/or external agency/agencies, while maintaining consistency across assets & brand strategy to ensure strong brand support.
  • Work with Analytics team to develop or improve segmented customer strategies to retain and extract additional value from existing customers.
  • Support the Product Owner in the preparation of forecasts and marketing budgets including the monitoring of expenditures vs budget.
  • Monitor KPIs, verify against market trends, and suggest pivots to marketing tactics.

WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY

Work Experience: Experience with digital marketing via direct-to-consumer channels (media, email, CRM, owned assets, social, etc.). Minimum three (3) years in marketing experience with a focus on direct-to-consumer lifecycle and/or loyalty marketing and /or managing agency partners through planning and on-site execution of event experiences. Experience in an agile team-based environment, with Product Owner (or similar) experience as an asset.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (3-5 years) work experience.

Primary Knowledge In: Deep knowledge of marketing and experiential event strategies, tactics, and channel opportunities for relevant domains/products. Solid knowledge of industry trends, user demands, and pain points to be able to develop marketing strategy. Comfortable with technology/IT to be able to leverage tools to drive new promotional opportunities.

Critical Skills: Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs to tell a compelling story. Demonstrated ability to operate in a multi-disciplined environment including technology, new product development, product design, promotion, merchandising, advertising, public relations, and market research. Strong project manager and problem solver with ability to find solutions to drive progress, often with a high level of ambiguity. Proven ability to manage agency partners through planning and on-site execution of event experiences.
