Job description: As a Marketing Science Analyst, your curiosity never ends. The next question is always on your mind, helping you to understand how data and analytics can improve business outcomes for our clients. Of the five sub-disciplines of Marketing Science, you’ve got a basic understanding of least two-tracking and measurement, data visualization, testing and evaluation, data integration, or statistical modeling-but you understand how others fit into a project. And you’re looking to hone your craft in the areas you’re unfamiliar with too. You’ll gain key experience in Marketing Science sub-disciplines and project deliverables through close mentorship with your manager.
You will:
- Support defining and completing analytics projects
- Maintain a well-organized approach to a variety of project work.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure accurate delivery.
- Communicate properly between the Marketing Science team and other disciplines.
- Approach analysis process logically to demonstrate how data lead to conclusions.
- Drive collaboration within teams to provide support, share skills, and gain insight.
You have:
- Exposure to paid or organic media such as social and programmatic is an asset
- Knowledge about media tagging, tracking and data capture approach.
- An understanding of the digital media landscape, ability to determine which channels are most appropriate based on business objectives, and experience using the data to make recommendations.
- An understanding of how paid digital advertising works alongside other channels, and experience analyzing it.
- Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Experience with one or more visualization platforms (Tableau, Domo, PowerBI, Datorama, Google DataStudio etc.)
- An understanding of Python, R, SQL, or other business-relevant statistical programming languages.
- A detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organization skills.
- An understanding of statistical application for understanding outcomes
- Strong time management skills to ensure accurate delivery.
- Top notch communication and collaboration skills.
- Detailed-oriented work style.
- Ability to efficiently communicate deliveries and delays of project with follow-ups as needed.
- Logical approach to your work, where others can easily follow your conclusions to your evidence.
- A drive to keep learning and offer your team support to grow and learn.
