WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Being a champion and contributor to all aspects of the strategic and tactical execution process for key marketing deliverables
  • Support lines of business and channel distribution, including value add services and both Retail and Institutional
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, develop project plans, coordinate and execute marketing programs that support accumulation and retention of a mutual funds, ETFs, Liquid Alternatives and Private Pools
  • Interact and work closely with a variety of colleagues of specialized marketing functions (digital marketing, content writers, research analytics, events and creative) in order to deliver on key projects that support various business units across the organization
  • Help contribute to and manage day-to-day marketing tactical calendar and identify project risks and ensure the appropriate mitigation action is taken to keep things on track and all stakeholders informed to progress and alert them of any additional dependencies/concerns
  • Manage and monitor intake and flow of day-to-day marketing requests and take ownership of quarterly deliverables
  • Track and stay on top of key milestones and deadlines to ensure work is progressing as planned and communicate priorities with all involved parties so as to deliver on time and as agreed to
  • Build marketing workback schedules and integrated views that support new product and service launches
  • Coordinate project status meetings
  • Curate and support analytics in order to constantly optimize program performance and be able to communicate marketing ROI and learning for core deliverables and campaign initiatives
  • Assist in the establishment and tracking of Marketing department performance metrics (qualitative and quantitative) separate to those success metrics of overall integrated marketing campaigns
  • Ensure that all documentation output meets quality and accuracy requirements
  • Partner with colleagues to project lead and monitor day-to-day activities in a self-sufficient manner
  • When necessary, document and escalate concerns and change requests to Director, Marketing and other stakeholders, such as the Project Management Office (PMO) marketing leads
  • Think outside the box in a fresh and innovative way to help inspire creative/alternative solutions and differentiate CI form the competition and same old
  • Work closely with Compliance, Creative Studio, Web and Translation service


WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree
  • 1 to 2 years of financial/investment services experience
  • Appreciation and understanding of conceptual selling and story-telling
  • Confidence and ability to interact with all levels of the organization as both listener and spokesperson for Marketing’s perspective and value-add
  • Ability to coordinate and execute multiple fast-moving projects concurrently, within strict deadlines and high expectations
  • Attention to detail type with the ability to multitask several key projects
  • Success metrics driven with ability to think creatively and analytically
  • Technology savvy both systems and software wise
