If you are passionate about emerging technology and delivering a superior customer experience, join the New Product and Digital Experience team as Marketing Analyst/Senior Marketing Analyst, Digital Customer Experience. In this role you will play a key part in the Digital Customer Experience team’s communication strategy, marketing execution and new customer engagement. You will also support managing mobile and web capabilities and feature launches.

  • Serve as a product owner of the Amex App and American Express Online Services. Understand our baseline customer experience and touch points in-app and online.
  • Develop and execute marketing programs across a variety of channels and segments. Innovate new customer treatments to show customers the value of our digital self-servicing capabilities.
  • Act as a project manager for web/mobile feature launches and enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple Central teams, Product teams, Legal and Compliance, and other internal/ external partners to drive results.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Amex digital programs, like Amex Offers and Mobile Messaging. Understand our marketing and capabilities best practices from Amex globally. Know our competitors and their digital offerings.
  • Understand and analyze results. Leverage data to inform our communication strategy, product roadmaps and other business decisions.
  • Effectively manage our marketing & promotion budget line
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years analytics and digital marketing experience
  • A passion for marketing innovation, and a demonstrated ability to leverage customer insights into actionable marketing strategies
  • Customer-centric mindset – craft initiatives, programs and campaigns that appeal to consumers, merchants and internal business partners
  • Experience with advertising tools like ASA and UAC
  • Superior attention to detail with a focus on quality
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to articulate complex technology updates in business and customer-friendly way
  • Proven ability to take initiative and champion a project from conception through implementation and evaluation.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills. You have an ability to advocate for the needs of the local market to influence marketing or capability roadmaps
  • A passion for emerging technologies, new web and mobile capabilities and digital trends
