Job description: Les missions du posteAmaris is recruiting for partially office-based Junior Biostatistician roles between our offices in Barcelona, Montreal, Shanghai, Toronto, Sofia.Starting date: from October 2025 onwards.Your Responsibilities:

  • Preparing analysis datasets and explore data prior to statistical analyses
  • Conducting statistical analyses according to a statistical analysis plan or protocol
  • Conducting a QC of statistical analyses
  • Generating statistical results – provide tables and graphs
  • Interpreting data within the context of the project
  • Developing reports and presentations to disseminate findings
  • Supporting internal & external communication

Le profil recherchéYour Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Biostatistics (minimum MS degree or equivalent) with a main focus in Clinical research or Epidemiology
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken)
  • Proficiency in SAS or R programming
  • Knowledge of basic statistical models (including linear models and generalised linear models)
  • Knowledge of statistical methods for Health Outcome studies
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • 0-2 years of relevant working experience in Statistics
  • An understanding of meta-analysis and Bayesian methods

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills in addition to the requirements:

  • Knowledge of multilevel modelling methods
  • Knowledge of survival analysis methods (including Cox regression models, proportional hazards assessments and parametric distributions)
  • Proficiency in using WinBUGs
  • Knowledge of the drug development processes and health technology assessments
