Position Description:The BMC Helix Consultant must have a wide range of knowledge with the configuration, customization, implementation and maintenance of BMC Remedy/Helix applications. Knowledge of supplemental products such as Business Workflows, Helix GPT or Discovery are considered beneficial. The Consultant will provide their services / skills to various Bridgenext clients. This role will primarily be remote, but depending on the client may require the ability to be on-site.Workplace: Mostly remote work based in Canada, with potential for some on-site work when neededMust Have Skills:

  • University degree or College diploma
  • 5+ yrs BMC Helix ITSM/Remedy AR System
  • Proven skill with integrating products with the Helix Platform
  • Understanding of BMC’s technology including but not limited to:
  • BMC Helix ITSM, Digital Workplace, CMDB
  • Integrating multiple BMC products together in an enterprise architecture
  • First hand project knowledge of highly available BMC implementations

Preferred Skills:

  • Solid understanding of the Service Management market
  • 2+ yrs BMC Helix Applications – Business Workflows, Dashboards
  • 2+ yrs BMC Platform Tools – Innovation Suite/Developer Studio
  • Technical Documentation Writing – Functional Specifications, Design, Test Cases
  • ITIL v3 highly desirable
  • ITIL mastery desirable

Professional Skills:

  • Strong ability to manage client relationships
  • Excellent problem solving skills, creativity, and insight with the ability to dissolve crisis situations with clients
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable in front of a technical or managerial audience
  • Ability to lead a workshop or small scale training course
  • Excellent written communication ability
