Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to our commercial real estate lawyers and assisting with various legal tasks related to commercial real estate transactions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Drafting legal documents, including leases, agreements of purchase and sale, and closing documentation
– Conducting legal research and assisting with due diligence activities
– Coordinating and organizing closing files, including communicating with clients, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions
– Managing and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems
– Assisting lawyers with trial preparation and court appearances
– Providing administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and handling correspondence
– Other duties as assigned by supervising lawyers
Qualifications:
– Legal assistant or paralegal diploma/certificate
– 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate law
– Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and legal documentation
– Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal research tools
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
