QualificationsPosition Requirements
- The ideal candidate is either i) enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate co-op program, ii) enrolled in a non-co-op program and pursuing a professional experience year (PEY), or iii) has graduated in April 2024 or later from an undergraduate or advanced degree program, in a quantitative discipline such as computer Science, economics, engineering, finance or math. Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python
- Empirical research experience analyzing large data sets
- Interest in capital markets and investment management
- Knowledge of financial instruments (e.g., equities, futures, swaps or options) is an asset
- Good written and verbal communication skills and an interest in working in a dynamic collaborative environment.
