Job Description
Quality Control Supervisor
Location: Brampton, ON
We are looking for a Quality Control Supervisor to oversee the quality control operations within our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control procedures, training and mentoring quality control staff, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Quality Control Supervisor will also be tasked with identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to management. Applicants should have experience in a similar role and possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards
– Train and mentor quality control staff to ensure understanding and adherence to quality control protocols
– Oversee quality control operations, including conducting inspections, testing products, and analyzing data
– Identify and address any quality control issues or non-conformities
– Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions
– Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality control activities
– Communicate with management and external auditors to ensure compliance with industry regulations
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
– 3+ years of experience in a quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
– Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and industry standards
– Excellent leadership and communication skills
– Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement
– Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks
– Experience with quality control software and systems preferred
– Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the manufacturing industry
Expected salary: $77600 – 130500 per year
