Job Summary:

Reporting to the Brand Marketing & Communications Manager, the Assistant Brand Marketing & Communications Manager will participate in the development and implementation of the Harlequin Brand strategy and brand marketing and communications initiatives to drive brand awareness, equity and sales in North America.

Creative & Content Management (20%)

  • Assists in the development, feedback, and maintenance of creative style guides. Ensures brand standards are always upheld and reflected in creative across our channels.
  • Works with Social Media Manager on planning, development, and promotion of TikTok and Reels content. Develops creative strategies for these communities alongside the social media team.
  • Leads creative production (Brand & Product): Works with creative freelancers and designers to make digital and print design requests, provides feedback and inspiration and works with internal stakeholders on their assets for brand campaigns, product marketing priorities, and beyond.
  • Onboard and manage content creators and influencers for ongoing brand campaigns.

Analysis, Measurement and Reporting (15%)

  • Builds action-oriented campaign postmortems and leads stakeholders through the project evaluation and KPI review process upon project completion.
  • Identifies trends in performance data to drive campaign and promotion optimization strategies.
  • Documents learnings and ensures they are leveraged to help improve future campaigns and initiatives.

Qualifications

Specific training or job experience required includes:

  • 3+ years of related job experience and a strong background in brand or digital marketing.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (Advertising, Marketing) and/or relevant experience.

  • Works closely with Customer Service to ensure a positive customer experience and appropriately address issues.

4. Analysis (10%)*

  • Works with Manager to research sales and site metrics.
  • Assists with monthly report including results, commentary and recommendations on new promotions and merchandising based on these results.

Qualifications: Specific training or job experience required includes:

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business/Marketing.
  • Must have high proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • The ability to work successfully both alone and within a team dynamic.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative thinker with a drive for results.
  • Harlequin product knowledge an asset.
