This internship offers an opportunity to learn about customer relationship management, sales strategies, and product promotion within the ruminant nutrition industry.Location: Cambridge, ON
Term: May 5, 2025 – August 29, 2025
Compensation: This internship is a paid position.Your Day to Day

  • Assist the sales team in identifying and contacting prospective customers in the dairy and beef cattle sectors.
  • Learn to conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs and industry trends.
  • Support the development and implementation of sales campaigns, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives and animal nutritionists to prepare presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations for clients.
  • Assist in maintaining customer databases, sales records, and CRM systems.

What You’ll Learn

  • Gain practical experience in sales techniques and strategies specific to ruminant nutrition and agriculture.
  • Learn about ruminant nutrition requirements and the benefits of different feed products.
  • Develop skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, and problem-solving.
  • Receive mentorship from experienced sales professionals and exposure to a dynamic sales environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Interest in ruminant nutrition, agriculture, and sales.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
  • Full-time availability for a 4-month term, May – Aug 2025
