Duration: 6+ monthsClient Domain: Product-based company HRMS (Human Resource Management System) applications focused on SaaS-based HRMS solutions for public sector organizationsAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead QA Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our growing team. In this role, you will take ownership of the QA process across multiple digital products, leading manual testing efforts while also contributing to and collaborating on automation strategies. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software in an Agile environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead the manual/automation QA efforts across multiple products and releases.Define, document, and implement QA best practices, standards, and processes.Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements.Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.Collaborate with automation engineers to identify candidates for test automation and help expand automated test coverage.Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation frameworks (if applicable).Execute and analyze automated test results as part of regression cycles.Mentor junior QA engineers and promote continuous improvement within the QA team.Provide test effort estimations and participate in sprint planning sessions.Requirements:10+ years of experience in manual/automation software testing, with at least 3 years in a lead role.Hands-on experience or strong understanding of automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, REST Assured).Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Proficiency in test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience testing web, mobile, and API-based applications.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests is a plus
