The ideal candidate will have experience farming accounts and building solid relationships. Account responsibility includes developing account relationships, managing initial and ongoing account launches, maximizing opportunities to expand distribution of retail products, recommend additional account product offering, engage accounts in promotional opportunities and maintain a consistent account revenue stream. You will also be responsible for developing internal relationships with various teams and is to be viewed as a subject matter expert for their portfolio of accounts. This position also supports the overall business priorities in a fast paced and evolving environment.This position can be based in Mississauga, ON or fully remote based in Vancouver, BC with 10-15% travel within Canada.
Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of merchant accounts
  • Develop Merchant Account relationships and maximize opportunities to expand sales
  • Manage initial and ongoing account launches
  • Conduct internal/client facing Quarterly Business Reviews and future planning
  • Meet InComm’s company and divisional goals for customer retention and growth

Qualifications

  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Experience within managing retail accounts, background in CPG or prepaid/gift card industry is a bonus
  • Proven ability to create and implement strategic plans
  • Demonstrated ability to grow account revenue through activities such as product expansion, promotional opportunities or program implementations
  • Experience analyzing sales reports and identifying trends
  • Comfortable learning new technology/product lines in a highly innovative environment
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize heavy workload while meeting deadlines
  • Must be driven to identify and exceed customer needs and expectations
  • Ability to listen attentively, respond effectively and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Aptitude for thinking and acting on a strategic and tactical level
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Superior relationship management skills including ability to engage in strategic conversations with all levels of management
  • Other Tasks and Responsibilities as assigned
  • Some travel required – 10-15%

Responsibilities

  • Execute internal and external processes for retail store and online product launches; including submitting internal launch submission and retail item set-ups and instore card testing, and initial inventory submission documents.
  • Update and maintain planograms and data extraction to support inventory replenishment.
  • Audit weekly merchandising reports and store conditions, and drive weekly actions and follow-ups with the third-party merchandising partner.
  • Coordinate and ensure execution of new fixtures in store
  • Support strategic marketing initiatives and provide post promotional sales analysis
  • Ensure timely and accurate replenishment of products and work with account and internal stakeholders to manage inventory
  • Maintain key databases
  • Research and resolve store escalations / product activation issues
  • Complete in-store field visits as necessary
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • University undergraduate degree
  • French language skills are a plus
  • Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
  • Power BI is an asset
  • Knowledgeable of MS Office applications
