Job description: Informatica ETL Developer (Corp 2 Corp Only)Informatica ETL DeveloperWe have an immediate need for a contract ETL Developer to join our client, a leading environmental services organization for an 8 month contract. The ETL Developer serves as a lead technical resource in the development and delivery of data-oriented solutions to support critical business needs.Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid during onboarding, remote afterwards)This job expects to pay about $60 – 74 per hour C2CWhat You Will Do:
- Develops, tests and implements enterprise data movement/migration (ETL and CDC) solutions
- Addresses system defects and implements enhancements to existing functionality
- Complies with Company policy and practices relating to the System Development Life Cycle
- Develops effort estimates for assigned application software implementation activities
- Maintains productive working relationships with project sponsors and key systems users
- Mentors junior developers in development techniques and standards
- Participates in the definition of application scope and objectives through research and fact finding
- Works with data architects and staff engineers to develop data designs and standards
- Works with onshore/offshore team to analyze, develop and improve ETL run times as well as produce accurate defect free code
What Gets You The Job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Statistics (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT operations and support performing ETL using the Informatica tool set.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with at least three of the following: Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Teradata, IBM, and Informatica modules (IDQ, PowerCenter, MDM, and ETL)
- Minimum 3 years of experience with at least two of the following: SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, MarkLogic, Denodo, AWS
- Minimum 3 year of experience with at least 2 of the following Informatica PowerCenter, CDC, ETL workflows
- Extensive Experience with Informatica PowerCenter/Cloud
- Experience in the design and development of ETL workflows
- Experience working with Change Data Capture (CDC) technology
- Experience with large database implementations (Oracle, SQL server, Teradata, IBM, etc.)
