Country: CanadaSummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced customer facing engineer to join our team focused on datacenter liquid cooling design and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in liquid cooling technology used in datacenter design and buildout. This role requires expertise in both enclosed and facility-based cooling systems, as well as experience with current Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU) technologies. Experience with L11+ rack design and liquid cooled datacenter design is essential.Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Understand the customer’s technical roadmap and identifying and managing all new customer-specific projects.
  • Collaborate with customers and supplier partners to understand the specific cooling requirements to develop customized solutions.
  • Work with each manufacturing location to coordinate technical aspects for all new customer-specific process development projects.
  • Develop the scope of all technical work, coordinate the team, direct work assignments and assist with problem resolution related to the customer’s product(s) from product conception to product obsolescence.
  • Work closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of cooling solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Identify customer site service requirements to enable the development and presentation of integrated solutions for life cycle support.
  • Subject Matter Expert in liquid cooled Level 11+ rack integration and installation into datacenter environments.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and training sessions to customers and internal teams.
  • Responsible for the best practice standard development, participate in Industry organizations for developing the standards and provide training and application support globally.

Knowledge/Skills/CompetenciesTechnical Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cooling system design and implementation, with a focus on single-phase datacenter liquid cooled solutions.
  • Proven experience in a liquid cooled environment, with a strong understanding of cooling processes and requirements.
  • Familiarity with enclosed and facility-based cooling systems.
  • Experience with one or more current Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU) technologies.
  • Knowledge of L6 through L10 system assembly and L11+ rack design and implementation

  • Serve as the primary technical interface for internal and external customers, addressing concerns and presenting solutions.
