Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Job Description:

Our client, a leading company in the telecommunications industry, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team in Toronto, Ontario. The HR Business Partner will play a key role in supporting the business with all HR-related activities, including but not limited to talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

Responsibilities:
– Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on all HR matters
– Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and develop recruitment strategies
– Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
– Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management and employee development
– Conduct investigations into employee relations issues and recommend appropriate actions
– Support the implementation of HR programs and initiatives to drive employee engagement and retention
– Collaborate with the HR team on various projects and initiatives as needed
– Stay up to date on HR best practices and legislation to ensure compliance

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
– 5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR business partnering
– Experience working in the telecommunications industry is preferred
– Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, and legislation
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
– HR certification (e.g. CHRP, SHRM-CP) is an asset
