Start date & Duration: May 2025 – Sep 2026Summary:This position is for a co-op/temp graduate student pursuing master or PhD degree from a related Engineering program to be involved in navigation software development activities for APX/AP+ firmware. The aim of the internship program is to train the prospective candidate with the eye to hire them as full time employees upon graduation.Responsibilities:
● Take part in development activities related to Trimble Applanix’s APX/AP+ firmware
● Partake in activities such as debugging, data analysis and algorithm implementation
● Development using various software development tools such as GIT & JIRA
● Applicable documentation
● Dataset collection and organizationQualification:
● Currently pursing a Masters or PhD degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science, Geomatics Engineering or equivalent
● Excellent knowledge of modern systems and control, estimation and Kalman filtering
● Experience with GNSS navigation in aerospace, defense, aeronautics, marine or other inertial navigation applications
● Fluent software development knowledge using C/C++ languages in real-time and/or .NET
● Keen thirst for learning and taking on multiple tasks
● Methodical problem solver and team player & overall soft skills
● Good communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
● Highly motivated and versatile and able to thrive in a diverse multi-tasking environment

Description:

We are currently seeking a Security Officer to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. The ideal candidate will have excellent observational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

– Patrolling and monitoring premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
– Answering alarms and investigating disturbances
– Regularly checking for irregularities, such as open doors, windows, or damaged locks
– Monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
– Writing reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
– Calling emergency services in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
– Monitoring and controlling access at building entrances and vehicle gates
– Escorting or driving motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations and to provide requested services
– Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a security officer or guard
– Experience with CCTV surveillance
– Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
– Familiarity with report writing
– Good understanding of the law and regulations surrounding security operations
– Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Able to work independently and follow instructions
– Flexibility to work various shifts
