  • Develop multi-discipline (chemical, mechanical, controls, industrial or electrical) proficiency during the program.
  • Understand key metrics (overall equipment effieciency, fixed and variable labor, etc.).
  • Perform basic lab tests with supervision of lab manager, prepare daily technical report with supervision.
  • Produce SIPOC diagram for the department’s operations, key physical locations.
  • Participate in and lead Continuous Improvement projects.
  • General electrical troubleshooting & equipment (starters, VFD, Soft starts & breakers).
  • Perform Operational & Cost Studies.
  • Perform tasks as an Area Supervisor.

  • Shops, warehouse, sub-level

  • Phone systems and all mine communication systems
  • PLC and other advanced or automation systems
