Requirements

About the Role

The Marketing Manager – Corporate and Public Markets (CPM) is responsible for initiating and driving marketing strategies and plan development in corporate, government and academic markets across Canada. This position will manage and support all marketing activities including but not limited to value proposition and messaging development, demand generation activities, content and sales tool development, and industry specific marketing communications to internal and external stakeholders. This role will work with marketing leadership, market planners, product management, and sales to ensure that the marketing efforts for the CPM markets are on target, on brand and meet the needs of the organization from a lead generation and customer retention perspective.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing campaigns across various channels to drive leads to the sales pipeline, improving conversion and ROI

Report regularly on results of marketing campaign through SFDC. Optimize dashboards to report results efficiently and concisely. Leverage data in decision-making and developing future campaigns/strategies.

Develop and execute objective driven demand generation short- and long-term multi-channel campaigns to drive quality leads and the sales pipeline

Lead A/B testing strategies and execution across all channels

Develop a deep understanding of the company brands, user personas and value propositions

Assist in content development to target consumers throughout the customer lifecycle

Identify new markets and digital marketing tactics to encourage business growth

Highly collaborative with sales, product, and other marketing teams to develop cohesive strategies and campaigns

Qualifications:

Has working knowledge of demand generation concepts and procedures; performs a variety of routine tasks or assignments

Digital expertise – theoretical and practical expertise in leveraging digital and social (ideation and strategy to execution)

Has experience working with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot) and sales automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce.com)

Fully proficient in managing and executing on projects from concept through launch. Typically follows prescribed guidelines or procedures to resolve problems. Independent thinker and works with a moderate level of guidance.

Keen interest in understanding business issues through detailed information analysis grounded in data

Bilingual – a plus but not a requirement

BA/BS in marketing or related degree

Experience: 4+ years of marketing experience, including 2+ in a demand generation role
