You will support different activities relating to IOC’s mine planning process.In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting mine planners with planning horizons, blast event, and infrastructure planning
- Performing mine reconciliation (spatial, equipment, haulage network)
- Contributing to continuous improvements initiatives related to unlocking haulage capacity
- Providing mine design support
- Assisting in the implementation of our downhill haulage procedure through updates to our traffic management plan, mine design standards, and risk assessment
- Participating in HSE related programs, including safety talks and field observations
