This includes defining objectives, determining tactics and execution, operations, and fundraising support.If you are skilled at developing and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, have experience managing numerous projects and priorities from initial idea through execution, have leadership experience and a positive track record of developing a digital program that ensures teams meet or exceed fundraising goals, we want to hear from you!This 15 month contract offers a hybrid work opportunity for someone who lives in the GTA
who wants to work mainly from a home office, but also has the flexibility to
come into the Toronto office upon request.How you will make an impact every dayStrategic Business Planning
- Lead the development of the overarching JRFH program strategy
- Work with the VP, Community Programs and Engagement and Director, School Relationships to develop annual and long-term program plans
- Develop and recommend strategies and action plans based on program evaluation and key insights
- Embrace a digital-first approach to program development and delivery; assess industry best practice and recommend/implement digital enhancements to modernize the program
- Develop and apply strong understanding of all constituent types to optimize the complex JRFH program: teachers, parents and student participants
- Lead the development of a digital first, tiered recruitment/ stewardship model to onboard maximum number of schools with less capacity while offering a best in class and consistent approach/constituent program experience and work closely with the Director, School Relationships to ensure consistent and optimized application of this model
- Manage and optimize the prizing/incentive structure to drive revenue and improve profitability
- Lead key internal and external stakeholder relationships to develop functional support plans to deliver against program objectives (eg operations, regional execution)
- Lead key stakeholders to ensure cohesive foundation strategies and cross-functional support for functional areas of the business.
Program Development Management
- Support a one team mentality & ensure alignment and consistency between program development and relationship specialists
- Lead the development of integrated communications and tools to support regional teams and constituents, consistent with brand standards and key messaging
- Manage external media agencies from briefing through execution of paid media plans
- Provide leadership and oversight on website development and execution – optimizing the user experience, tools, program resources, triggered email strategy and content
- Lead management of website vendor in developing and delivering a world class experience for constituents; influencing priorities and holding them accountable.
- Lead efforts to increase diversity and inclusion within the program and its execution
- Ensure central program support is well coordinated, effective and meet staff and volunteer needs
- Work closely with Director, School Relationships to ensure alignment and mutual accountability to national goals
Research, Metrics and Data Management
- Work closely with Director, School Relationships to develop national KPIs, performance management and contingency plans
- Conduct research studies, business analyses, reporting and testing
- Identify market trends, competitive activities that inform strategic plans
- Draw conclusions and recommend and implement action plans using data and key metrics to support findings
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Director, School Programs on the development and execution of plans.
- Lead program planning and ensure deliverables are met in a manner that upholds H&S values and competencies, working closely with key internal and external suppliers (Marketing & Communications, Execution team, supply chain, IT Solutions, Email, Media agency, freelance contractors, Fundraising Ops, corporate engagement, etc).
- Lead program communications strategy and vehicles and ensure effective integration into the larger Foundation communication plan.
Financials
- Provide input into gross/net revenue targets
- Work with Finance Department to oversee and manage the budget process (i.e. invoicing, accruals, etc).
- Update quarterly budget outlooks and monitor spending.
- Identify cost-saving measures within the program
Talent Management
- Lead talent development, ensuring high standards, competence and that staff is well supported in fulfilling their accountabilities, developing their skills and achieving their career potential.
- Provide clear direction on business goals and priorities; ensure optimal deployment of resources to achieve business goals.
- Establish individual performance plans and objectives; provide coaching and feedback to direct reports and comply with performance review cycle
- Develop direct report(s) to be strong people leaders, enabling the development of a high performing team by following established best practices
- Partner with Human Resources to recruit skilled talent aligned with Foundation practices
- Familiarize and comply with all HSF policies while ensuring accurate administration of employee related information: absence records, vacation, title, etc
Who we needExperience
- Minimum 5 years fundraising, program development, marketing and/or operations experience with a proven track record of achieving fundraising goals
- Experience leading a team of direct reports and collaborating on national campaigns
- Experience developing or leading digital fundraising campaigns or initiatives
- Experience leading web development, email marketing campaigns as well as paid and earned media campaigns

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.
