Responsibilities
- Act as a brand ambassador by promoting Canadian Tire’s brand in the marketplace through developing and maintaining strong candidate relations and industry networks
- Create and foster relationships with online resources, professional organizations, community organizations, to create partnerships that yield quality candidates
- Build a network of prospects; Utilize data and current trends to creatively figure out where new prospects can be uncovered
- Stay informed of current trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive and creative with sourcing and attracting quality candidates
Experience & Skills:
- Experience with multiple methods of sourcing passive and active prospects including using LinkedIn Recruiter & Indeed; Exceptional comfort sourcing, cold calling, head hunting prospects
- Comfort with technology and using Excel, Taleo, other relevant applicant tracking systems (ATS); Workday Recruiting experience an asset
- Builds and maintains relationships easily; is approachable and welcoming to prospects
