As a Marketing Specialist, you will gain hands-on experience through various projects, acquiring knowledge and showcasing your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations. This role will enhance your personal education and employment opportunities. This role is contributing to the Electrification, Services division of ABB Canada and is located either in Milton or Brampton. The work model is primarily remote. Responsibilities: • Inside Sales: Analyze market trends to contribute on organization growth. • Product Marketing: Assist with product launch assets, participate in developing and implementing marketing platforms. • Business Analytics: Collect and analyze data, uncover insights, and support marketing leader in process improvements. This includes creating detailed reports and presentations to inform strategic decisions. • Marketing Technology: Maintain the technology ecosystem for data collection and related analytic digital tools (preferable knowledge of AI). • Digital Marketing: Contribute to digital marketing campaigns • Tradeshows: support tradeshows, enhance customer experiences, and develop communication materials. Accountabilities: • Collaborate with various teams to support ABB marketing, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within defined timelines. • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts. • Seek feedback and guidance from managers and team members to improve performance and skills.Qualifications for the role
- Entry level profile (1-2 years of working experience)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to various working cultures.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; French is an asset.
- Self-motivated, quick learner with a career interest in Marketing and Business Management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, databases, CRM systems, and LinkedIn. AI skills are a plus.
- Strong safety focus and attitude.
- High autonomy.
- Willingness to expand knowledge and continually grow necessary skills for success.
- Strong critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
