Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Event Coordinator to join our team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of events from conception through to completion. This will include managing vendors, coordinating logistics, and overseeing the event setup and takedown.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop event plans and schedules
– Coordinate with vendors to secure necessary services and equipment
– Assist with marketing and promotional efforts for events
– Develop and manage event budgets
– Coordinate event logistics including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and transportation
– Oversee event setup and takedown
– Manage event staff and volunteers
– Ensure events are executed smoothly and efficiently
– Provide post-event evaluation and reporting
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or related field
– 2+ years of experience in event planning and coordination
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of event planning software and tools
