Purpose

Accountabilities:

  • Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Will lead the evolution of the bank’s digital marketing, sales and growth function and will be a pivotal contributor to the Bank’s digital transformation. He/she will develop the strategy, playbook, and metrics to drive growth and engagement across all markets and business lines
  • This role will work closely with in-market teams to ensure alignment, sharing of best- practices and marketing analytics leadership. He/she will be responsible for optimizing collaboration across the network and developing, maintaining and deploying a common framework and toolset to enable the flawless execution of digital marketing programs for the business.
  • Directs day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank’s risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits. Communicates the Bank’s risk culture and risk appetite statement throughout their teams
  • Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Education / Experience

  • You have 10 or more years of demonstrated and relevant industry experience, preferably in digital channels, search (SEM & SEO) marketing, display and programmatic media, metrics, analytics, attribution, personalization and A/B testing
  • Brand strategist with deep knowledge of digital ecosystems, customer archetypes, personas and journeys
  • You have demonstrated experience in leading and building large teams, adept in attracting and motivating talent
  • You have proven exposure to the Agile methodology.
  • Shows deep knowledge of third party ad servers, data management platforms and the digital marketing tech stack
  • Proven track record driving results through the Digital Marketing Funnel, systematically increasing traffic, converting page visits to leads then to sales and adoption
  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Marketing or a related field.

Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills
