JOB SUMMARY
The Digital Product manager will be the strategist and planner who will oversee the development of a new digital product from its inception to its launch. You will play a key role in understanding our customers’ business challenges and goals. You will collaborate with and lead our teams through early discovery and understanding of the problem space, ideation and design thinking, and the iterative prototyping and creation of impactful user experiences.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day-to-day Product Owner who will work within the Scrum team to create, communicate, and prioritize the product backlog items and ensures the product goal is explicitly communicated.
- Works with Director to define the product goal that translates into the product backlog of epics, features, and user stories.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders to gain alignment and drive project forward.
- Gathers and leverages market data to identify opportunities and ways to enhance the digital product.
- Value-driven mindset – selects initiatives that will enhance existing solutions and services.
- Develops new solutions and services for their assigned business unit or projects.
- Develops product positioning and messaging that differentiates Livingston’s service offering in the marketplace.
- Analyzes market trends, macro-economic data, competitive environment and develops plan to address the changing environment.
- Conducts customer research to uncover new opportunities and new product/service ideas by building out a beta infrastructure and/or by partnering with Client Experience.
- Manages the development of business cases for proposed initiatives.
- Develops go to market product launch plans for new or enhanced services, products, or solutions.
- Works with and influences cross-functional groups and drives activities across the organization.
- Collaborates with the sales, product development and marketing communications team to produce sales collateral such as sales sheets, case studies, brochures, presentations, and campaigns.
- Analyzes and reports on relevant project metrics.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Technical fluency with a background in building or maintaining digital product in an agile framework.
- B2B and B2C marketing knowledge with proven experience with positioning and messaging of services and solutions, collateral creation, pricing, integrated marketing and sales campaigns, lead generation and new product launches.
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
- Strong communication (oral & written) skills.
- Project management.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Advanced MS-Excel and design collaboration tools (e.g., Miro, Figma).
WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED
5 years of related experience
EDUCATION
Required: Associates Degree or post-secondary education in Marketing
