OVERVIEWPOSITION TITLE: Coordinator, Partnership MarketingREPORTS TO: Manager, Partnership Marketing FULLTIME: 44 hours/weekLOCATION: Toronto, ON – Rogers Centre POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a passionate, emerging marketing professional to join the Toronto Blue Jays Partnerships team. Reporting to the Manager, Partnership Marketing, this full-time position is responsible for supporting the management of a portfolio of the Club’s corporate partnerships with industry-leading brands. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
– Lead the day-to-day management of a small portfolio of the Club’s corporate partnerships and support larger partner initiatives.
– Build trusting relationships with peers across the organization, contacts at our corporate partners and with other stakeholders such as agencies, vendors, and consultants.
– Develop a strong understanding of each of our partner’s businesses and industries to help deliver exceptional partnership results.
– Support the planning, development, and execution of partnership assets and campaigns from start to finish.
– Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to help bring our partnerships to life and enhance the experience of Blue Jays fans at Rogers Centre and across Canada.
– Contribute to the development and management of partner workback schedules and annual budgets.
– Support the development and presentation of year-end recap reports for your portfolio of clients.
– Proactively identify trends and best practices in the sports marketing/sponsorship industry to incorporate within our business.
– Contribute to key departmental functions such as gameday roles and responsibilities, asset photo library, partner events, road trips, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
– 1-3 years of Marketing, Strategy, Partnership, Sponsorship and/or Client Management.
– University Degree (Marketing and/or Business specialty preferred).
– Passion for the sports marketing industry.
– Foundational knowledge of marketing partnerships and account management.
– Hard worker who brings a positive attitude to the workplace every day.
– Strong team player. Open to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to deliver exceptional client experiences and support your peers on the Partnerships team.
– Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task with attention to detail and sound judgment.
– Ability to build trusting relationships with your colleagues and clients.

– Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills.

– Over-communicates the necessary information.
– Assets we are looking for: Creative design – Hours outside of a typical workday are required to work games and events (can include evenings, weekends and holidays).
– Ability to travel to destinations across North America on occasion (up to 10%).
– Ability to work from Rogers Centre.

Direct Channel Marketing Manager (Rogers for Business)

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Direct Channel Marketing and Lead Management, the ideal candidate is accountable to executer our Channel Marketing strategy to support the organizational goals of the Marketing, Sales and Product organization. This is a critical role in ensuring that we deliver qualified leads across Sales channels with a special focus on outbound and targeted marketing programs.

The role requires an understanding of sales priorities and performance to ensure that Direct Channel Marketing has programs in place to support sales volumes and drive action, as well as an understanding of marketing lead generation tactics and sales funnels. The role will help define the addressable market leveraging data-driven insights, deliver prospect and base lists for sales outbound calling/ follow-up and help enable sales teams to successfully execute marketing campaigns.

The successful candidate will need to take on new challenges, be agile and flexible with varying priorities throughout the year, garner buy-in on key programs from the senior leadership team and collaborate well with various cross-functional teams under tight timelines.

What you will be doing:
– Understand Sales targets and performance; participate in Sales channel team meetings to inform strategy and build collaboration
– Develop base and prospecting targeted and multi-touch outbound programs, including cross-sell and lead nurture campaigns where appropriate and in collaboration with Marketing and Sales
– Expand and grow marketing qualified leads by seeking new and innovative ways to expand our marketing reach (e.g targeted ‘address-based programs’, Franchise programs)
– Support the regional marketing team in executing lead management programs in the regions
– Responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of Direct Channel Marketing programs, including, but not limited to the setting of plans and campaign objectives, list and data analysis, lead assignments and lead monitoring, ensuring proper campaign support material, conducting sales feedback loops and reviewing campaign effectiveness (as required)
– Identify lead nurture opportunities through existing SFDC data and campaign outcomes
– Monitor lead activity and ensure leads are actioned; measure performance and effectiveness through analytics and dashboards; communicate performance to Sales and Marketing leadership
– Provide a perspective on new lead gen opportunities and drive funnel acceleration tactics
– Ensure continuous improvements to increase Sales uptake, lead efficiency and reporting accuracy in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Data and Analytics, Digital and Salesforce administration teams
– Support any key strategic priorities or special projects to support other key channels or teams

What you bring:
– Minimum 5 years experience in B2B marketing
– Salesforce and list generation experience preferred
– Knowledge of Marketing Technology tools and platforms an asset
– Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
– Strong written and oral communication skills
– Strong relationship building and networking experience
– Strong analytical skills a must
– Flexible, strong time management skills, ability to manage multiple initiatives within short timelines; thrive within a fast-paced environment
– Analytic, ability to interpret data and translate into insights and action
