We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to help execute our digital strategy and roadmap. This role will report to the Digital Marketing Director and will be responsible for executing multi-channel marketing initiatives and developing digital content for our websites, social media, email marketing and advertising while adhering to our brand standards.
About the role:
- Perform digital landscape analysis, competitive audits, target audience analysis for brand planning and new business opportunities.
- Manage the company’s websites (Ausenco, Hemmera, Orien), including copywriting, creating digital content, content publishing and deploying SEO best practices.
- Conduct Search Engine Optimization (SEO) audits, suggest Search Engine Marketing (SEM) tactics and marketing automation opportunities.
- Assist with copywriting, video editing/production and creating digital assets for our channels (website, social media, intranet).
- Create and execute social media content on Ausenco’s channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube); develop content calendars and collect all necessary approvals.
- Work with our marking teams to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns.
- Measure and report performance of all digital campaigns and assets and assess against goals (ROI and KPI’s).
- Execute on email marketing campaigns.
- Assist in managing the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System.
- Keep up to date and informed on new digital, interactive, design principles and social media trends and adapt accordingly.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience working as a Digital Marketing Specialist, Marketing Specialist, or related field.
- Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or equivalent.
- Experience in digital copywriting
- Experience with CMS platforms, social media management and analytics tools, including web-based applications
- Experience with executing Search Engine Marketing, Paid Search and Programmatic advertising
- Google Ads and Google Analytics certified
- Knowledge of Photoshop, WordPress, HTML and CSS
- Experience in video rendering and editing an asset
Job specific skills:
- Solid digital and marketing skills, spanning digital design, websites, social media (paid and earned) and search engine marketing.
- Strong written and verbal skills in English, knowledge of French, Spanish or Portuguese language considered an asset.
- Understanding and experience working with SEO and SEM
- Advanced technical knowledge of social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Very strong project management skills, including leading projects with multiple contributors.
- Superior knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Open-minded, creative approach to digital strategy and tactics.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Very analytical and data-driven
