The Opportunity

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager with a specialized focus on our marketing automation platform capability. This position is accountable for the sequenced roadmap, prioritized backlog, and delivery of marketing capabilities enabled via the Marketing Automation platform to power programmatic, data-driven lead nurturing and relationship deepening campaigns. #LI-Hybrid
What you will do

  • Define and maintain a documented product roadmap that demonstrates how the prioritized enhancements are aligned with enabling the business to meet their objectives.
  • Create, maintain, and prioritize a well-defined backlog with requirements and acceptance criteria for product features which can be easily understood by our Technology team.
  • Possess expertise in managing conflicting priorities from multiple stakeholders with diplomacy. Be able to operate between Marketing, Customer Experience, and Technology and apply that balance to how the product evolves over time.
  • Attend agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives, working in partnership with technology teams on execution.
  • Lead, collaborate with, and motivate a cross-functional team from the functions of UX/UI design, Business Analysis, Development, QA, UATdesigners, project managers, scrum masters, business analysts, developers, and testers to build, execute and release features in alignment with digital roadmaps.§In partnership with the Scrum Master, drive, negotiate, and prioritize in-sprint activities and problem solve to mitigate risks to meet business commitments.
  • Partner with global KPMG stakeholders in Marketing and Digital to understand business needs, goals, and business strategy to inform the Marketing Automation product roadmap
  • Actively engage global stakeholders from KPMG offices (called Member Firms) to align on product roadmap and backlog items on a release-by-release basis.
  • Partner with technology resources and/or platform vendor resources to expand your knowledge of the platform.
  • Collaborate with platform vendors to influence base product roadmaps to meet goals.
  • Consistently review product metrics to inform any required changes to upcoming releases or the product roadmap

What you bring to the role

  • Completion of a relevant undergraduate degree or diploma
  • 7+ years of well-developed Digital and Technology expertise with 5+ years as a Product Owner/Manager with a focus on Marketing Technology. Specific experience with enterprise Marketing Automation products such as Adobe Campaign or Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.
  • Hands on experience with developing product roadmaps, defining priorities to drive product updates and innovation
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills. The candidate should have existing (or be able to quickly establish) strong relationships with stakeholder individuals and groups at all levels across KPMG.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and prior success in working with development teams; technical capability and a track record in software development combined with experience in the leadership of software development teams and delivery of product enhancements within a software development environment
  • Recognized Product accreditation (e.g. Certified Scrum Product Owner)
