These positions are funded by Canada Summer Jobs and are available to applicants who are 18 to 30 years of age.TRANSLATORSTranslators will provide language translation support for ArtsPond’s primary initiatives in 2025, including Wellpsrings, Caring Cultures, I Love My Gig, Hatch Open, DigitalASO, Together There, and more. Planned activities include translation of reports, websites, software interfaces, closed captioning of archival videos, and other content.Translators will produce multiple translations including Fluent and Plain English into Fluent and Plain French. These translations will subsequently be translated in summary to ASL, LSQ, Braille, Indigenous, and other languages in the future. Translations will be drafted in Microsoft Word with the support of DeepL Translations will be published online via WPML in WordPress. Translators will also support the development of language translation glossaries for future translation needs. Glossaries may be managed using DeepL Translator or other tools.The preferred schedules and available compensation are as follows:
