They will work closely with the SAP team in Canada to ensure the solution delivered aligns with the requirements of the business areas in Canada and globally as part of the larger International SAP team to ensure process and solution alignment.The ideal candidate is an experienced developer with experience with both operational support and project delivery. The candidate should have a strong understanding for the SAP change control process and best practices for development.What you bring to the role

  • 5-10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, object oriented development, HANA development and S/4HANA experience.
  • Design, develop and test solutions using ABAP for various modules within SAP including FI, CO, MM, SD and HCM per the business requirement.
  • Support functional team with customizations and leverage standard SAP configuration where possible to optimize business processes.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues within the SAP environment, including providing recommendations for preventive measures.
  • Work on project assignments with functional team, technical team and business resources to understand requirements and develop solutions within the time and scope of the project.
  • Support performance optimization efforts within the HANA solution ensuring that resources are used efficiently
  • Provide technical documentation for solutions and customizations, including system landscapes, ABAP code and technical specifications.
  • Support training and mentorship to junior members and participate in knowledge sharing sessions across the entire SAP team.
  • Proven experience in SAP system architecture, with experience in at least two of the following SAP modules: FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, PM, PS.
  • Experience providing operational support and working on major projects for SAP solutions.
  • Familiar with SAP Solution Manager and Change Management process for code migration.
  • Highly skilled in SAP troubleshooting

Additional skills desired for the role

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNOW
  • Experience with SAP technologies like Fiori, BTP
  • Relevant certifications in SAP development
