About the Role:
AGF is seeking a disciplined and motivated champion for AGF.com. AGF’s brand and website were relaunched in 2017, and we are seeking someone to continue to evolve the platform. This individual will work closely with Creative Services, Channel Marketing, Communications, Investments Marketing, and Information Technology teams to ensure business as usual work is done to the highest standards and that we achieve successful delivery of new projects.
The role reports to the AVP, Digital Strategy, Enablement and MarTech Operations, but works closely with the Technical Development Manager and will play a key role in the implementation of our strategy.
Your Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain AGF.com, including working with stakeholders to facilitate updates, tracking out-dated content to ensure it is updated and coaching content managers in best practices
- Develop and champion a robust product roadmap, focusing on new features and process automation
- Gain stakeholder buy in through strong communication and change management skills
- Represent Marketing & Product at key cross-functional committees
- Prioritize projects and change requests to ensure continuous development
- Provide teams with regular status updates and sit on a number of committees to stay on top of firm-initiated project requirements
- Maintain strong relationships with business partners in IT, Compliance and Legal, ensuring our websites meet the highest standards for privacy and accessibility
- Collaborate with your team to solve problems creatively and analytically, while striving for innovation and excellence in a dynamic work environment
- Champion the use of out Content Management System across the organization
- Stay on top of digital marketing trends to pivot
- Document key processes and develop training to create robust institutional knowledge
- Execute change requests as required, working closely with content managers and IT to ensure only appropriate issues are escalated
Your Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years experience in digital web development
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in web development or website management
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to thrive with ambiguity
- Experience with Google Ads, Google Tag Manager and Analytics
- Strong understanding of AODA standards and their application to the web
- A good team-player, able to balance priorities from different parts of the organization
- Effective relationship builder
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Strong grasp of the “full-stack” of web technologies
- Understanding of HTML5/CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React.js
- Capability with Microsoft 365, including Sharepoint Online
- Understand data and evidence gathering methods
