Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Behaviour Consultant to join our team. As a Behaviour Consultant, you will work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, conducting behavior modification therapy sessions, and providing ongoing support to clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs and abilities
– Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
– Provide behavior modification therapy sessions to clients, including teaching adaptive skills and addressing challenging behaviors
– Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in clients’ care
– Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
– Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment interventions
– Stay up-to-date on best practices and research in the field of ABA therapy
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field
– Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred
– Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities
– Strong knowledge of principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
