- Develop and execute advertising concepts for digital and social channels that address the objectives as outlined in creative briefs.
- Proactively recommend creative options that go beyond creative requirements as outlined in creative briefs.
- Have a thorough understanding of the BMO brand and guidelines and ensure all projects are aligned.
- Provide art direction to senior designers and production designers as needed.
- Responsible for quality control and proofing work.
Business delivery/operational effectiveness
- Present concept and design recommendations to senior marketers and executives.
- Continuously develop deep knowledge and understanding of BMO brand attributes and BMO businesses in order to develop relevant and meaningful design recommendations.
- Effectively prioritize and manage multiple project assignments, often under very tight timelines and competing deadlines.
- Effectively manage time to meet delivery dates.
- Maintain quality control processes ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained before releasing files.
- Ensure files are prepared according to pre-determined specifications.
- Follow established processes and procedures to effectively manage projects.
Client relationship management
- Develop and maintain positive and supportive working relationships with all internal partners by meeting and exceeding expectations.
Change and innovation
- Keep informed of ad industry best practices.
- Seek out means to further develop creative skills.
- Share learnings with BMO Design team members.
