- Deliver assigned targets on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis and develop actions to achieve the agreed plan for Canadian marketplaces, Dysoncanada.ca Outlet and direct B-Grade business.
- Manage the relationship between Dyson and marketplace partners while overseeing tactical direction and strategic sales plans. Lead development of new product launches, manage product listings, optimization and online merchandising strategies to drive engagement and commerce on Dyson’s marketplaces.
- Lead marketing for all online marketplaces, including promotional opportunities, pricing optimization, and content creation.
- Identify product, service, or marketplace issues, and resolve them as needed in partnership with the Customer service team
- Embed with the website merchandising team to influence and deliver strategic plans and deliver on shared objectives for the B-Grade business on dysoncanada.ca Outlet including new product launches and promotions
- Lead forecasting for Marketplace and B-Grade channels at product level
- Act as the point person for Direct Marketplaces and B-Grade sales communications, not limited to total Direct sales, forecasting and supply and sales meetings
- Monitor Marketplace and B-Grade sales and inventories; identify opportunities and assess related risks; gain consensus and approval from internal stakeholders; communicate and implement proposed action plans.
- Identify & implement opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell buyers within the customer journeys.
- Build processes, calendars to communicate merchandising plans to various teams across the organization.
- Research and identify new marketplaces.
- Develop profitable online programs including eCommerce range planning, promotions, and merchandising solutions to reduce refurbished inventory levels without creating channel conflicts across marketplaces and Dysoncanada.ca Outlet
- Be an active subject matter expert on all things marketplaces.
- Work in partnership with the other Direct channel owners (web, direct retail, and customer service) to identify and implement opportunities to drive conversion, cross-sell and up-sell.
About You:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred
- 5+ years account management experience: E-commerce or Direct to Consumer experience strongly preferred
- Experience with digital retail and strong data analytics
- Diverse experience working with supporting departments, including operations, channel management, category management and finance required
- Proven track record of budget/forecast delivery
- Ability to think creatively and develop long-term plans for product launches which maximize brand awareness and profit, while considering channel conflicts
- Proven negotiation and closing skills, both on an internal and external level
- Good customer and cross functional interface capabilities; excellent presentation and influencing skills
- P&L proficiency and ability to optimize ROI
- Ability to accurately forecast demand for sales and profit growth on a micro and macro level
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; advanced proficiency in Excel
- Passionate about eCommerce and the opportunities it brings to drive traffic/sales
- Proven negotiation and closing skills, both with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to understand the Dyson brand and uphold its integrity
