- Registered and in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding and compliance with College practice standards.
- Minimum of two (2) years internship/work experience in an acute care hospital setting, including tube feeding management preferred.
- Nutrition intervention experience in General Medicine, Emergency, Mental Health, Oncology, Intensive Care and Rehab preferred.
- Knowledge of computer software, Meditech and CBORD preferred.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an interprofessional team.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to set priorities and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent organization, time management skills; and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous education & supporting clinical placements for learners.
- Demonstrated reliable attendance, punctuality, availability and performance.
