The regional PM will define and deliver roadmap items and draw from market research and analysis to maximize regional revenue opportunity while minimizing risk. They will partner with product owners, regional stakeholders and leadership on the product’s Go-To-Market effectiveness, align regional activation channels, resolve unique regional issues, and deliver feedback to help shape the global product strategy.This individual contributor role reports to the Senior Manager, Product Management.ResponsibilitiesExecutes the Colocation strategy to provide the world’s digital leaders with digital infrastructure to support their growthBuild strong working relationships with peers and key cross-functional areas within the business to be the voice of the regionRepresents the Data Center Services Business Unit in activating Colocation vision, goals, product capabilities, roadmap, business cases, and use casesContributes to the development of product strategy, GTM, and ongoing support of the product vision and roadmapHelps identify regional opportunities to innovate across our Space, Power, and Services offerings to improve delivery efficiency and maximize return on investmentCollaborates with Global Product leads to capture product requirements and develop and deliver the lifecycle of a product from concept to launch to end of life that will meet and exceed regional objectivesCollaborates with and deeply listens to customers, sales, and marketing to identify use cases aligned to solutions that deliver differentiated valueIntegrates insights from usability studies and other research to improve user experience, manage and prioritize roadmap deliverables, and communicate Equinix’s solution set(s).Manages stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions as the regional liaison on behalf of the Product Management teamDelivers product training curriculum; participates in cross-functional training and meetingsRuns the business: analyze and optimize value chain activities; establish and monitor KPIs; administer regional promotional support; implement course corrections as neededProvides product and deal support to sales, solution architects, partners, internal teams, and customers in the regionQualifications5+ years of experience as a product manager, product marketing manager, sales engineer, or solutions architect in Data Center servicesWorking knowledge of space and power, including AI, liquid cooling, and other Data Center service offeringsExperience working directly with internal and external customers as the product SME and customer advisory and insight panels use case studies, product feedback listening sessions, etc.Experience with product launches and GTM (product readiness, product support & enablementUnderstanding of product management fundamentals of Lean development methodologyStrong technical acumen with applied experience across Data Center servicesAnalytical problem-solving and planning skills to discover, design, and implement effective practical recommendationsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills – both verbal and written.
