Internship Program Requirements:
- Educational Background: Pursuing a four-year degree with an expected graduation between December 2025 and Summer 2027. Must have overall 2.8GPA

Positions SummaryOur commodity merchandiser interns will learn the fundamentals of the business by being immersed in the daily merchandising activities at our Windsor, Ontario location that has trading activity in Eastern Canada, Michigan, Ohio, New York and Vermont. This exciting opportunity will expose students to many aspects of commodity merchandising and will result in a truly meaningful experience.Duties and Responsibilities
- Commodity Merchandising is being involved with the buying and selling of commodities in the cash market, risk management, as well as making and coordinating transportation of the product
- The position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with growers and/or product accounts, including the handling of logistics, accounting, and other customer related issues
- Much of a typical day is spent on the telephone, keeping customers aware of current grain market news while buying and selling grain or products
- The office environment can be, at times, hectic as market information is shared verbally among the merchandisers
- This activity makes the job exciting and challenging
