Role Overview:

As the Manager of Content Design & Strategy on McAfee’s Consumer Experience Design team you’ll enhance and amplify content design & strategy’s role in meeting our business goals and help us satisfy our user’s functional and emotional needs.

You will be part of the design leadership team as the leader of the content design team and will drive several cross-functional projects. You’d report to the Senior Manager of Strategy and Research.

  • Influence the objectives and long-range goals of the Content Design & Strategy team at McAfee—you will need to define the practice and hire a team of content strategists, content designers, and UX writers who will help you realize the vision.

  • Enhance the brand by creating cohesive experiences with a consistent voice and tone

Digital Coordinator – Timberland Tree

You’ll be a trusted member of our team reporting to Director Sales. You will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager and Merchandising Manager with the execution of marketing and online strategies for Timberland to drive traffic to our website and wholesale customers websites. You will need to understand the marketplace and develop key relationships with internal teams to deliver successful results through creative thinking and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and organization skills are essential for effective coordination, project management, and communication.

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

  • Become a subject matter expert and advocate for digital and omni-channel accounts

  • Always support general content operations by being agile, flexible, and willing to assist other projects and initiatives to help drive the business forward and reach or exceed sales targets

  • Provide standard sales support (to include): item set-up, web site reviews and audits, seasonal maintenance, and ad-hoc reporting

  • Manage and brief creative ideas with internal teams for traffic driving opportunities

  • Manage the wholesale and digital asset requests submissions

  • Work with the merchandising and planning teams for the Timberland.ca website. This includes analyzing sales and inventory, and suggesting ideas accordingly.

  • Partner with the merchandising and planning teams to identify assortment and inventory opportunities based on key E-commerce KPI’s and consumer site behavior

  • Drive navigational changes based on seasonal product and consumer interest and interaction

  • Collaborate on in-season timing of launches, pricing, and end-of-season liquidation strategies

  • Coordinate and work cross-functionally with other teams to track redemption, ROI, key product selling etc.

  • Actively research market trends and competitor analysis for new ideas to implement with our brand.

Canada Protection Plan is looking for an Assistant Vice President, Marketing, Canadian Division to lead the Marketing function and oversee the strategic direction for the development, implementation and management of innovative marketing programs to drive Customer and Distribution Partner education, awareness and engagement. Create demand for products and services, increase website traffic and conversions and help meet sales targets and other business goals and objectives through various digital and traditional (TV and print) channels. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual strategic review and planning cycle for marketing as part of the overall strategic planning process
  • Provide leadership to the department for strategic planning and plan implementation
  • Provide leadership and direction to the retail and distribution marketing teams
  • Improve consumer and financial advisor experience by evaluating the end-to-end experiences across multiple channels (digital, radio, television, and print)
  • Establish measurement framework (ROI and KPIs) and develop best-practice analytics and reporting capability to measure and report marketing campaign performance and optimize marketing strategies and media mix

  • Promote marketing best practices across the organization for all stakeholders

Knowledge/Experience/Skills:

  • Completion of a University degree (Business or Marketing) or equivalent experience; MBA is an asset
  • 7+ years of experience in a digital marketing and strategy role preferably in the financial services sector
  • Senior management experience working with marketing teams
  • Experience as part of a sales team an asset
  • Life and health insurance experience is an asset
  • Demonstrated success in driving business results in a B2B and B2C, corporate or professional services company, with particular emphasis on digital marketing, content marketing, social media and analytics
  • Thorough understanding of digital technology, website and mobile development, including methods to leverage social networking to achieve business results
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM (Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms (Marketing Cloud)
  • Experience using analytics platforms: Google Analytics, social analytics and web/data analytics, mobile technology implementation and email marketing
  • Experience executing search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM) and online (paid search and display) advertising campaigns
  • Excellent written verbal and oral communication and presentation skills
  • CFP, CLU, RHU, designation an asset
