Marketing Technology Consultant

As a Marketing Technology Consultant, you are responsible for making our clients’ MarTech stacks sing. As you are aware, MarTech is fundamental to driving the type of engagement, lead management, and analytics that enables marketing to be strategic and a key contributor to pipeline and revenue. Working closely with our clients, partners, and our strategy and content consultants, you are the sensei that enables our clients to transform their stack and deliver wow moments to their marketing executives.

YOUR MISSION ENABLE OUR CLIENTS TO GET THE MOST OF THEIR MARKETING TECHNOLOGY STACK, ENABLING ADVANCED ENGAGEMENT MARKETING, LEAD MANAGEMENT, ANALYTICS, AND HELPING TO DRIVE PROCESS CHANGE WITHIN THE BUSINESS.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES – Don’t let this list get in the way of delivering success. Do what it takes and be original in identifying how you can add value. That said, here’s a starting list of typical responsibilities:

+ Marketo implementations: Working with new clients, you implement all aspects of Marketo to get them up and running, and then incrementally using progressive elements of the platform to drive engagement, pipeline creation and conversion.

+ MarTech Integration: You help our clients optimize, strategize and integrate with their MarTech stack. Whether it’s connecting their chatbot to lead scoring, improving their integration with their CRM, or optimizing their integration with an event platform you are ensuring their investment in tech is being maximized.

+ Marketo as a Service execution: You help our clients execute email, event, engagement, and default programs. You manage all Marketo execution details to help enable program success. DEMANDSPRING.COM This includes program set-up as well as adding business value by suggesting ways to optimize email and landing page copy, offers, testing, and other program strategy details.

+ Marketing Automation optimization: You help clients get more out of an existing MAP implementation by building or optimizing lead scoring, lead nurturing, revenue models, analytics and more. + Marketing Ops best practice development: You develop and document Marketing automation best practices, working with your colleagues to continue refining the way digital marketing should be done.

+ Content Contribution: Like all your peers, you develop content (1 blog post per every two months and 5 monthly tweets) to help drive our content engine.

+ You have at least some experience with other MarTech apps and can advise our clients on best practices and integrations

About You:

You are a natural problem solver and engaging Social Media agent. You are responsible for brand reputation management and providing an exceptional customer experience on every interaction. Experienced in anticipating client needs during all stages of travel, from trip planning, to their return home, the Social Media agent can multi-task, prioritize, and communicate for a seamless online experience. You work towards a high online community standard of excellence.


What You’ll Do:

  • Demonstrate rapid response and company emphasis on quality customer care, transparency and authenticity to a large, public audience through the use of multiple social media tools
  • Identifying trends and potential crises, liaising with various departments to respond with urgency to protect the brand’s reputation as situations arise
  • Focusing on providing exceptional service for every aspect of the customer experience
  • Assigning inquiries to other areas of the Sunwing Travel Group and following up to ensure that they are received and responded to
  • Seeking out sales opportunities, and convert them into bookings through tracking and follow-up communications
  • Responding to customer emails with empathy and accuracy through the Sunwing “Contact Us” inbox
  • Handle the recovery process for a service failure, in pursuit of the higher goal of prevention
  • Preserve the relationship between the business and our travel partners, to the best of their ability
  • Share feedback and suggestions from the online community to the management team to drive positive change

What You’ll Need:

About the role:

Are you looking for an opportunity to innovate with brands in the social space? Inside Ideas is looking for a Social Media Manager to play a key role in driving business success through best-in-class use of social media and digital. This role will be fully remote and based in Canada.

The successful candidate will have a strong background of working with digital and social channels and have a love of technology. You must excel in producing, engaging in creative social media and digital work across planning, strategy, and media. Ideally the candidate would have experience working for clients in regulated industries, but still able to innovate in the social space.

In this role you will be responsible for fostering social communities through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. Working closely with the brands and in conjunction with the team’s account and design members, you will be representing the voice of the consumer, monitoring conversations, posting content, and managing the daily operations of various social challenges. This is about engaging, building and proactively managing a positive social media community. You must bring a creative flair and excellent written skills within 140 characters. As well as to work with clients and team members to plan and create monthly social content calendars / strategies, increasing social reach and engagement.


What you will be doing:

  • Ongoing management of content calendars for multiple brands and oversee the strategic approach for various channels
  • Keep up to date with the latest social trends & tools, leveraging them for social campaigns and providing strategic recommendations for implementation
  • Create timely and engaging content optimized for platform uses and intended audience
  • Collaborate with creative team on social creation process
  • Continue to refine and define our clients’ social media marketing process
  • Work closely with our Account Management and Creative teams to develop new social media opportunities for revenue growth
  • Working directly with clients and agency teams in a fast-paced setting

What you need to be great in this role:

  • At least 3-4 years experience of managing and delivering successful social media campaigns at an advertising agency
  • Strong understanding and experience in ongoing social media strategy and implementation
  • Ability to own the thought leadership across multiple brands looking to increase their relevance and performance in the social space
  • Experience synthesizing social media performance insights to action into creative optimizations
  • Verifiable examples of social media marketing successes and wins
  • 3-4 years’ experience of building audiences and engagement through social media
  • Have a strong understanding of social platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Hootsuite, and more
  • 3-4 years prior experience running successful social campaigns
  • At least 3 years experience with social tools and analytics such as Facebook Insights, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and Google Analytics
  • Have experience with creating content
  • Be able to spot social opportunities in client’s niches
  • Able to work under tight deadline and be able to handle multiple projects at any given time.
  • Basic MS Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
