Job description: Job Description:What you’ll do:Eaton is seeking an Intern – Sales Operations to join our Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure (CPDI) Sales team for an 8-month term. The Sales Operations Intern will be based out of our Toronto facility.Primary Function:As a Sales Operations Specialist Intern, you will work with stakeholders to improve sales operations. You will analyze data to recommend solutions for sales performance issues and identify ways to streamline processes within Sales Programs.Essential functions:

  • Improve processes by being a key member of cross-functional teams on projects.
  • Communicate with management and team members about tasks and milestones.
  • Perform sales analytics and reporting to support sales performance.
  • Promote process improvement.
  • Validate and research sales activities to ensure data integrity.
  • Support the sales team in data collection and interpretation to boost sales.

Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

  • Enrolled and returning to a college or university program (Engineering, Business administration, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Accounting or related field).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or co-op experience.
  • Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

This role will commence in Jan 2025.Primary FunctionThis position is responsible for servicing uninterruptible power supplies and batteries and other company electronic-based products in a high voltage environment at the customer’s site.Essential Functions

  • Assist in creating detailed and quality reports to customers covering the scope of work performed.
  • Follow required safety practices.
  • Manage paperwork and office procedures, as required.
  • Assist the team in performing emergency and preventive maintenance and installation on a 24/7 on-call basis with regional responsibility.
  • Responsible for performing on-site or in-house servicing and repair of company products.
  • Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment and serve as the customer contact on technical and service-related problems.
  • Proficiency in the following:
  • Test Equipment Operation.

Qualifications:Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Co-Op Program in Electrical Engineering or completed an Electrical Engineering Technology program
  • Basic understanding of rectifiers and inverters

Preferred Qualifications

  • 0 – 5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical controls and/or power distribution products
  • Good understanding of single phase and three-phase circuit theory, analog and digital electronic circuit theory and microprocessor controls and programming.
  • Basic understanding of network functionality, fiber optics and sealed and wet celled battery theory and application.
  • Ability to read and utilize drawings, handbook formulas and a variety of precision diagnostic instruments.
