  • Set up of Fee Diaries while ensuring a high degree of operational efficiency, and conforming to Bank and department regulations:
  • Effectively complete set up and maintenance of automated fee diaries based on approved client agreements/instructions for Scotia Asset Management (SAM) accounts and Estate and Trust accounts by printing and identifying discounts, fee schedules frequencies and anticipated market values. The incumbent contacts the originator for clarification if the agreements/instructions are incomplete or missing.
  • The incumbent identifies opportunities and manages fee setups on the semi-manual fee database where fully automated processes cannot be applied through the review of established/available automated Fee Schedules and the Scotiatrust system/Fee system (ZIFP) functionality.
  • Effectively code exempted assets from fee calculations according to client agreements & instructions.
  • Efficiently & accurately process fee calculations and reversals by using established processing applications to complete the calculations and post entries to client accounts.
  • Control and maintain documents received from branches by logging document types/identifier into departmental database and filing documentation accordingly.
