The company is looking for an Operations Manager in Mississauga, Ontario with excellent pay and benefits. The manager will provide leadership, direction, and hands-on support to employees, as part of a Fortune 500 company, Fortive.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Your duties will include handling incoming calls and other communications, managing filing systems, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing general office clerk duties and errands.
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills. Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a related field is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Responsibilities:
– Answer and direct phone calls
– Organize and schedule appointments
– Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
– Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
– Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
– Develop and maintain a filing system
– Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
– Maintain contact lists
– Book travel arrangements
– Submit and reconcile expense reports
– Provide general support to visitors
– Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
– Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
– Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
– Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
– Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
– Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
