  • Develop and implement the vision to enhance the patient and colleague experience in our retail pharmacy locations
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to provide thought-leadership on the future of Pharmacy practice and ensure scope of projects are aligned to address this
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert on Enterprise Pharmacy Operations standards of practice
  • Work with cross-functional teams to get stakeholder alignment on strategic projects, including the development of Pharmacist-Led Clinics
  • Work with Design & Construction stakeholders to ensure Pharmacy layouts are optimized to meet the current and future needs of Canadians
  • Work with key business stakeholders to bring the omni-channel Pharmacy journey to light in current retail network of stores
  • Work closely with Enterprise Operations Development & Systems, Pharmacy Services, Health & Wellness, Merchandising, National Operations, Professional Affairs, Loblaw Digital, Loblaw Technology, Design & Construction and Marketing, and other teams as necessary to realize our vision
  • Develop reports, presentations and content for key meetings, ensuring content and messaging are appropriate for different stakeholder groups
  • Manage projects: lead planning; monitor and report on progress; execute appropriate risk management, stakeholder management and change management activities; collaborate with various teams to ensure appropriate resourcing; lead design and implementation of new processes and required training; ensure proper handover at project conclusion
  • Travel to stores as needed to check on project progress and ensure project has traction
  • Provide regular project communication and status reporting
  • Help validate and produce appropriate baseline project plans and templates
  • Work with appropriate parties to plan project resource requirements
  • Lead strategic project planning, milestone tracking, risk management, stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, design and implementation of new processes and project training, change management and hand over activities

  • Degree in Pharmacy is a requirement (B.Sc. Pharmacy, M.Pharm, Pharm.D., etc)
  • MBA is an asset.

  • Understanding of Design Thinking principles and when to apply them.
