Job Description:

Our client, a leading company in the financial services industry, is seeking to hire a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their team in Montreal, QC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support decision-making for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Media Planner

OVERVIEW

Reporting directly to the Media and Search Campaign Manager, the Digital Media Planner will drive the successful execution of media and search marketing campaigns in line with prescribed objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Media Campaigns

  • Participate in the development of media plans and media plan proposals for clients showcasing KPIs to determine success for B2C, B2B, CPG brands.
  • Research and recommend media placement options for media programs, including but not limited to paid search (ppc), social advertising (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), online video (including YouTube), programmatic, retargeting
  • Organize creative requirements for execution and share with creative team
  • Gather campaign elements for set-up (banners, tracking, etc)
  • Develop text ads as required
  • Deploy/upload/traffic the campaigns
  • Engage with partner firms (e.g. Facebook)
  • Monitor campaign performance on a daily basis
  • Develop and implement optimization strategies to improve performance of campaigns

Reporting and Continuous Improvement

  • Pull required data for campaign and project reports, including metrics such as CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, ROI.
  • Develop ongoing reporting of media campaign performance
  • Provide insights into and recommended action items based on campaign performance
  • Participate in the development of best practice guidelines for related service offers

Innovation

  • Propose innovative service offerings within the realm of digital advertising
  • Propose innovative optimization strategies for client campaigns
  • Identify tools to facilitate optimization measures

General

  • Assistance with completion of general departmental tasks, as required

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Experience

  • Previous experience in the field of digital media planning (3 plus years)
  • University degree or college diploma in a related field

Skills

  • Knowledge of Google Ads (ideally Google Ads certified) and Facebook Ads Manager
  • Strong knowledge of Programmatic, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn and Twitter advertising tools.
  • Knowledge of Analytics tools (specifically Google Analytics), including setting up of UTM tagging, dashboards and data extraction for reporting
  • Familiarity with Google Drive (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and French
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills
