Your work will be directly supervised by a licensed P.Eng. You will be able to apply the concepts that you have learned in school to support client focused engineering solutions. You will have the opportunity to hone your design and drafting skills and gain experience in a dynamic consulting engineering environment.Primary responsibilities
- Assist and collaborate with the design team on 3D model and drawing development
- Participate in insights to project estimates and proposals
- Assist in the creation of drawings & other engineering documents
- Maintaining an organized CAD library
- Participate in the development of practical solutions for challenges in industrial settings.
- Complete field work, primarily in industrial settings
Qualifications
- Student presently enrolled in an electrical engineering technologist diploma or bachelor’s degree
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks and 3D modelling
- Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong analytical, computer, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid Class G driver’s license
The salary for this position ranges from $20.00 to $29.40 per hour, depending on your academic profile, the number of credits earned, and your previous co-op or internship experience.
