The Impact You’ll Make:

As a Platform Specialist focusing on the Demand Side Platform at Advance, your role is to support the onboarding of new customers and support existing customers’ ad operations teams. You will be responsible for client demonstrations of the platform, building your technical trafficking knowledge, working closely with our product teams, and supporting ad operations across third party media.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with Sales and Client Services to provide demos for prospective customers for our proprietary ad serving platforms (ex. Demand Side Platform)
  • Monitor self-serve customer campaigns for completion, client KPIs, overall performance, health metrics and create client-facing reports
  • QA and troubleshoot customer ad serving setups
  • Assist in defining and documenting best practices for the set-up, testing, QA, optimization, and execution of campaigns
  • Working closely with product teams to stay updated on product developments and identifying areas for improvement
  • Assist technical ad operations colleagues in the implementation of new ad solutions from end to end
  • Assist ad operations colleagues in the trafficking of managed campaigns to deliver against customer goals

What you’ll do

  • Support the strategy, development, execution, and measurement of data-driven marketing campaigns, personalization initiatives and product launches in multiple digital channels across a variety of businesses
  • Leverage a diverse set of technical tools to derive deep and actionable insights from transactional, digital, and loyalty data to inform customer growth strategies
  • Deep dive into customer data across a large number of owned & digital channels to support and drive growth product planning
  • Scope, develop, and maintain analytical dashboards & reports that contain actionable metrics to monitor business performance and inform strategic decision-making
  • Partner with external teams to help guide, develop, and build predictive models that contribute to customer growth strategy

Does this sound like you?

  • Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, etc.) or related experience in a technical field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in an analytical role and proven ability to work with relevant tools (SQL, Excel, BigQuery, Python/R, Snowplow/Omniture/GA etc.)
  • Ability to generate meaningful customer insights from large volumes of complex data (particularly raw event logs, product data)
  • Experience using data analysis and modeling to better understand customer mindsets using transactional and behavioural data sets
  • Proven experience owning and/or contributing to advanced analytics projects and models (ex. attribution & propensity modeling, decision trees, segmentation, time series analysis etc.)
  • Comfortable building compelling dashboards with data visualization tools (Looker, Data Studio, PowerBI, Tableau or similar)
  • Previous experience working with digital analytics data to understand customer journey and derive actionable insights for business planning
  • Hands-on experience with statistical analysis (Experimental Design, Hypothesis Testing, ANOVA, GLM, etc.)
  • Naturally curious, always looking for the ‘why’ and not afraid to dive deep to get answers
  • Effective communication skills, and collaborative mindset
  • Experience with automation of processes or working with data pipelines is an asset
