Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for performing administrative and clinical tasks to support our healthcare professionals and ensure the smooth operation of the medical facility.
Key Responsibilities:
– Greet patients and escort them to the examination rooms
– Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
– Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
– Administer medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare providers
– Keep medical records and charts up to date
– Schedule appointments and follow-up visits for patients
– Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
– Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and guidelines
– Provide support for other administrative and clinical tasks as needed
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent work experience
– CPR certification
– Proficiency in medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively
– Detail-oriented and organized
– Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
