Job Description:

DirectPay is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing data science projects, developing machine learning models, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and execute complex data science projects from start to finish, including data collection, cleaning, analysis, and modelling
2. Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems and improve decision-making processes
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data and analytics to drive business growth
4. Conduct in-depth analysis of large and complex datasets to provide actionable insights and recommendations
5. Design and implement data visualization tools and dashboards to communicate findings and drive data-driven decision-making
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in data science, machine learning, and analytics to continuously improve our data capabilities
7. Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists and analysts to grow the data science team’s capabilities

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
2. 5+ years of proven experience in data science, machine learning, and analytics
3. Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other relevant languages
4. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
5. Proficiency in SQL and other database query languages
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
